May 24, 2012 - 1. Ive been in plenty of station fights as hostiles will warp in shooting a SOV station they canot dock in and the defenders will move out to optimals / have agression timer.2. Machariels... Lol....3. Guns free are often used when the fight is over and you just need to clean up whatever is left.I myself called it a few times against SC when they invaded us in the NC back in the days.

Paintchk218 Says:

May 24, 2012 - You've clearly never been in a big fight or null sec.

macgyver2210 Says:

May 24, 2012 - LMAO atron. If you were there, I would have made you fly a better ship.

PetruBear Says:

May 25, 2012 - Hey specialbus, it's an interceptor.

nicoinformatics Says:

May 25, 2012 - not really, payed my first 2 months and that's it. ooh, and also, my first big fleet was when i'm still 4 months into the game and joined one of the largest nullsec alliance in the game 2 months later.

gonger03 Says:

May 25, 2012 - anyone needs a 21 day invitation? convo me

EviLNygma Says:

May 25, 2012 - 1. very true..2. slow but when it is your only option... you will still get that order.3. he does say "order targets by range" before saying "weapons free".Don't forget it is a recreation of an event in EvE... but obviously as it is being used as an advertisement for the game.... a little artistic license was used to make it look more appealing.

zeonos Says:

May 25, 2012 - 1. They would have aggression timers, and if its the enemy sov, they can dock.2. They burn away, so they can hit the 200km mark to warp in on top of them.3. He first arrange targets by range, and since all targets are snipers, and the defenders are short range, he can use Weapon Free, the fight is already won at that point.

AbdallahElMalak Says:

May 25, 2012 - what happened to his face in the end of the video? lol xD!

desrune Says:

May 26, 2012 - kinda creepy how well they made the ingame character look just like him lol, imba XD

Varasalvi2 Says:

May 27, 2012 - Like he said, "I was there". So at the end he turns into his character, meaning he is really there.Or something like that, i´m not very good at explaining things :p

johan404 Says:

May 27, 2012 - Not if you earn enough isk for a plex every 30 days.

johan404 Says:

May 27, 2012 - pfft, I got 300 mil ISK when I joined. The guy who sent me the invite still made a 180 mil ISK profit.

johan404 Says:

May 27, 2012 - Could be an Ares or Taranis, tech 2 Atron. They are interceptors, very fast and hard to target for big ships. That's why he was able to fly into the enemy fleet, duh.

mupp33n Says:

May 27, 2012 - Actually. The guy could have kept the ISK himself and given you nothing. He gets a PLEX which sells for 480 mill.He then gave you 300 mill. And he take 180. Also most rookies dont even plan to stay in the game, so those 300 mill usually arent even near spent, so they are stuck on frozen accounts, meaning its a300mill loss.

johan404 Says:

May 27, 2012 - Sure but then I wouldn't have signed up on his invite. I was already two days in the game when he asked me. So I had to create a new account and the incentive to do so was the 300 mil. Basically in this scenario it was a 180 mil profit for him, 300 mil profit for me.

mupp33n Says:

May 27, 2012 - Yes, he gets the small end of the stick.

johan404 Says:

May 27, 2012 - Better than no stick.

mupp33n Says:

May 27, 2012 - Also btw the buddy invite is a legit system, there is an official thread on eve community forum.

johan404 Says:

May 27, 2012 - I know. But my point is he wouldn't have gotten a plex from signing me up if he wouldn't have offered the 300 million ISK in exchange for creating a new account through his invite. So it was a win-win. 180 million ISK is a nice profit for 5 minutes of work.

norsknerd Says:

May 28, 2012 - what was the point of flying into the enemy fleet, so that the rest could warp there?

varis2000 Says:

May 28, 2012 - Yes- they used their FTL drives to travel the 150 or 200 km instantly. In Eve you need an object for your warp drive to lock on to. A ship in a friendly fleet is a valid object, just like a planet or a jump gate.
