Feb 21, 2011 - Not to say triumph is bad.(been through two daytona 675's and love em) but just because they STARTED making motorcycles before doesn't mean they made cruisers before them. harley has been making cruisers for a long time. triumph made different bikes. both a good in their own respects. but i find triumph great...but IMO I am a BMW bike(no cars) man. my s1000rr is just to morbidly fun to want to sit back and cruise.

Apr 22, 2011 - I've been looking around the bike market in the same way you look for a good woman to marry. After seeing this beauty, I think I'm finally in love...

Apr 27, 2011 - I read these comments and it really makes me aware of how much hate exists in this world. Here, someone is good enough to give those of us who love motorcycles a chance to evaluate. Right off the bat it becomes a pissing contest. Why can't we just comment on the subject at hand and respect each others opinions. That's all they are,,,opinions. Read most of these posts and feel the wasted energy it took to spew them.

May 9, 2011 - This one snuck up on me.... as did Triumph in general. I always liked them from a distance but never thought I would own one, now I think my first bike is always going to be a triple of some kind ('02 Sprint ST w/ RS config now, next is prolly a used 1050 Tiger). So anyway at the dealer I saw two red ones next to each other and was shocked at how beautiful they really are, plus that handling is better than most. It's a great rig.

Oct 17, 2011 - What's common between a Harley and a Dog??? They both ride in back of a pick up :)......lol

Oct 27, 2011 - Got mine a week earlier, a Triumph America 2011, wow I cannot believe how good it looks and the compliments, I was about to get a Honda Phantom. This bike looks like a big expensive bike. Power is OK. Honda was more nimble to ride, I love both but bought this one. If I had more money would get a honda as a second bike
MrStuartMiddleton Says:
Oct 30, 2011 - Then your comment is irrelevant.

Jan 21, 2012 - Dose anyone think the change from a Yamana xv 535 to Triumph Thunderbird can be hard considering the weight difference and that I am not a tall person. I do feel very comfortable on the Virago, I am 1.66m tall and have 64kg. Thank you.
sleazyweaz Says:
Jan 31, 2012 - @bohemond4 and the Who, the Beatles, and the Stones.
RAVINFORONE Says:
Feb 24, 2012 - Why would the down grade the bike with a 270 degree firing order and keep the vibration. Only to compete with another vibrating bike. We got to get pass this old school thinking. They could of been so far ahead. Vibration is only fun for a short trip, but after a while it is a pain in the butt, literally.
scarface45645 Says:
May 8, 2012 - and heavier
gambietti Says:
May 21, 2012 - @katoun9 I converted from a 359lb Honda nighthawk to a 650lb star warrior. It is not hard IMO to get used to any bike. Take an hour in a parking lot and you will be fine and do not be intimidated by engine size either, mine was a 1000 cc bump. Good luck

jgraz42 Says:
Jan 10, 2011 - I guess if you compare it to mid size cruiser it would be ahead of them all because it's a full size cruiser, but it is pretty fkn nice.
