Feb 15, 2010 - The film really moved me. Its a story of a metal band, but its really a story of being positive and following your heart. The movie vindicated may 30 year metal addiction. I made my mom watch it, she said I remember that song coming from your bedroom!!!

Feb 17, 2010 - Total respect for Anvil simply because they have spirit, yes they do. THE TRUE DEFENDERS OF THE FAITH.Cool, down to earth, real beings and truly smiling at life, still laughing at all that has been thrown at them...they are certainly not inflated, pompous, disposable idols.

Jul 3, 2010 - Not a metal fan but I thought this film was first class, really brought home the ups and downs of people and how they overcome the bad episodes in life. Good luck to the band and director, quality !

Jun 14, 2011 - As many others have commented. This documentary is just so good & the people in it are just so likable. I almost imeddiately just felt bad with em' not breaking through cause damn, that Lips really have the heart of a rocker. As he say also say in the documentary, he don't care if he plays for 5 or for 5 thousand people, he just want to play his music. Would defo watch that documentary again, kudos to the director.

Feb 5, 2010 - As a musician myself, strandedathome, I have come to realize that assholes come in all colors and so do good people. For instance, what Beyonce Knowles did after that was a 100% class act thing to do, and I'm not even a fan of hers.
