Dec 18, 2009 - If you use capital D and M you get the day and month instead of numbers. So if you wanted "Fri, Dec-18-2009"you would use date("D, M-d-Y");

Sep 1, 2010 - 1 person seemed to have missed their birthday... and they found out using the date function ;)
darkpower901 Says:
Oct 13, 2010 - it's works bur i also get a error can some one help plz?Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/Paris' for '2.0/DST' instead in C:\xampp\htdocs\test2.php on line 313.10.2010

Jan 2, 2011 - why i is for minutes? shouldn't it be m?or is this one of the things that has nothing to do to what you're doing, like echo instead of display?
Diifusal Says:
Jan 2, 2011 - ok, i got it working, but the clock is freezed of course.. is there any way to do something like being always refreshing the page so the seconds are always correct and flowing?
Diifusal Says:
Jan 2, 2011 - Date:D - displays the day of the week. ex: Mond - displays the number of the day. ex: 02M - displays the month abreviation. ex: Janm - displays the number of the month. ex: 01Y - displays the year. ex: 2011y - displays the two last numbers of the year. ex: 11Time:H - displays the hours in a 24 hours clock. ex: 23h - displays the hours in a 12 hours clock. ex: 11I - nothing to quote.i - displays the minutes.S - nothing to quote.s - displays the seconds.
