Nov 15, 2011 - UK weed lovers - tired of the lies? If you care about cannabis please sign the petition on the e-petititions website. i can't paste the URL here but search e-petitions for 'legalise cannabis' and find petition number 29. We need 100,000 votes to get to parliamentary debate and have about 140 days left. Vote and spread the word. Also please vote up this comment and spread the word on FB twitter etc.

Nov 18, 2011 - 1:30 Actually the word "Cannabis" comes from the Sumerian word "Cannabi" meaning "the cane of two sexes." It was called this because no other plant has such a massive difference between the males and females..Though it does source from Sumerian to English through Arabic. They just didn't get the original source right.

Nov 26, 2011 - to your knowledge USSR was growing Hemp starting 1930's, a decade before this movie came out. There were medals given to Hemp Growers. In fact Russia was growing Hemp starting 15th century with little break of communist revolution. Moscow subway stations have statues depicting hemp.

Nov 28, 2011 - What happened to our country. Back then we at least had a goal to improve our country, now we just wallow in divided government in debt.
laejnaek Says:
Dec 6, 2011 - It is insane that you aren't allowed to grow hemp. It could solve so many problems. About 20 ago I saw a video about how beneficial it would be to grow hemp. The fear of it being marijuana keeps it illegal? That is so stupid.
HaniiPuppy Says:
Dec 10, 2011 - I was making a slightly ironic statement. I was referencing the fact that americans have historically called everything they didn't like unpatriotic and communist xD

Jan 7, 2012 - I can't believe the goverrnment bans hemp cultivation because they don't like the idea of people getting high.

Jan 8, 2012 - That is just a side excuse...jackherer the bookspells out the BS behind the real reason hemp was outlawed...and continues so.
OblivionGamer92 Says:
Jan 26, 2012 - I still don't understand the governments policy on the banning of growing industrial hemp. Making it illegal to grow the most useful plant on the face of this Earth simply because its merely related to a plant that is illegal? C'mon America, what the fuck?
Bouchon211 Says:

OblivionGamer92 Says:
Apr 23, 2012 - Yeah I know. What shocks me is that in the decades since all the propaganda, people still won't come to their senses. We claim to be the best country in the world, but we don't even grow the greatest plant ever created? Seriously? Because that plant is in the same family as one that relaxes you and calms you down it should be illegal? Sorry for the rant I'm pretty toasted right now.
DrakeVonDeath Says:
May 3, 2012 - Actually, people HAVE come to their senses. Take medicinal marijuana, for instance. ABC and Washington Post took a survey about two years ago and found that 82% of Americans support it. 50% support decriminalization of recreational use. The problem nowadays isn't so much the sheeple; it's the establishment, and the sheeple's unwillingness to believe that the government wouldn't listen to popular opinion. Poor, naive sheeple.
