Mar 11, 2012 - not true sony pioneered oled and still makes broadcast production level tvs, meaning that they provide all professional studios with OLED, no other manufacturer does, samsung took up the challenges? theyve yet to do anything like this, sony simply has not released another commercial oled since 2007 because of the market, no one can afford it, so basically they have the best OLED technology despite what you want to believe
andrewyang1993 Says:
Mar 11, 2012 - I was referring to AMOLED, not OLED. Sony doesn't even know how to build AMOLED, the best display they can make currently is SLCD, which is still not as good as AMOLED. Google was pissed that they had to incorporate their newest phones with SLCD because of the shortage of AMOLED.And I dare you to search up Samsung's flexible AMOLED display. It's far more effective and efficient than Sony's. And that came out only a year after Sony's.
tsuchijunko Says:
Mar 12, 2012 - actually sony laid it out 3 years before samsung even brought forth a prototype..haha amoled is oled man, a missing layer of touch screen material makes it a new display technology..no..and samsung image processing is horrible and they havent even mastered the tech, all images are blued and greened to the max with no true white..disgusting..whats the point when you have to sacrifice so much
