Nov 15, 2009 - Good debate. Mariam Nawabi is an inspiration to Afghans everywhere.
tundrasheep Says:
Nov 16, 2009 - Miraim was wrong, there was a civil war going on in Afghanistan before the Russians went in. They went in with a siliar mission as the western forces have now, to stbilize the country and keep the government in kabul in control.
genefire Says:
Nov 16, 2009 - The lady in the white sounds like a Pentagon spokeswoman. She should be ashamed on herself and where did Al Jazeera get this crowd? Why didn't they get that lady who was kicked out of her parliament for challenging the warlords within the government. I forgot her name but she would've been a credible witness. I saw her on "Democracy Now" saying the Americans should leave so that they can address the internal enemies of the Afghans in Afghanistan. She has way more credibility then anyone here
guruapa Says:
Nov 16, 2009 - go jeremy

Nov 16, 2009 - this debate was just heating up they should have been givin an hour.those two guys on left have some great points
saadut194 Says:
Nov 17, 2009 - yeah, absolutely correct..... Jeremy is just exposing the US & Israel so clearly & Maryam is speaking the words of US not the Afghans. They should be given much more time to have reached to the last & reallistic conclusion.
cerrmcneel Says:
Nov 18, 2009 - Great discussion. Is it just me or was the panel organized by their political stance? Debates like these should be shown on some of the cable networks so people can see how a real panel should be handled and instead of just reaffirming their opinions on the situation here the argument from both sides of the political spectrum.

jove04 Says:
Nov 25, 2009 - I love it when Americans spin and beat around the bush for wars and killings. Go America go. Spend more trillions in Afghanistan and lose just like you lost in Iraq while the people in the U.S. go down the drain. This is good for the world. The U.S. will be reduced to a level of a third world country.
virgostar19 Says:
Dec 1, 2009 - We should be in Afganistan! but we have to prvide human resources. But the most important thing is that we must not support the Goverment that is made of Warlords.
pbrbound Says:
Dec 2, 2009 - To everyone who thinks we should not be in this war i want you to go up top and search the 9/11 footage. Maybe then you can set ur egoes aside and remember all the ppl that were killed. The heroes in the NYFD and NYPD. The heroes that died in the field in southwest PA. We didnt get our way of life and freedom from backing down. So i want you to take a good hard look at urself and decide if a real american will turn tail and run...or meet that invasion head on like we are now. SUPPORT TROOPS
TbaginANDBuck Says:
Dec 24, 2009 - @str8guerillaz You think we shouldn't be there? lol
longlivetheloud2 Says:
Dec 25, 2009 - We're over there fighting the reactionary monsters that the capitalist bourgeois put into power in the first place.
MrsRacingSkyline Says:
Jan 2, 2010 - PBR U FUCKING MORON GO AND RESEARCH URSELF ABOUT 9/11 AND YOU TELL ME WHO CAN I BLAME FOR IT AFTER THE TRUTH ITS INFRONT OF UR DAMN EYES ... PEOPLE ONLY CONCENTRATE IN POLITICALS STUFF BUT THEIR IS SO MUCH ABOUT OUR GOVERNMENT!!! BUT TALKING ABOUT THE WAR ... cuz god we are dumb and blind.............
giterdun77 Says:
Jan 9, 2010 - Occupying Afghanistan is about encircling Russia and China, and preventing their comeuppance - along with India's - in the global energy race. Read Brzezinski's "The Grand Chessboard", published 13 years ago, for clarity on the matter.
HealingVibrations Says:
Jan 20, 2010 - most of the hijakers on 911 were from saudi arabia, does that mean the USA should bomb and invade saudia arabia? Google'> Bush and the Bin laden money connections and you will see that afganistan invasion is all about oil pipelines.
ccc771 Says:
Apr 30, 2010 - The US and its allies are losing in Afganistan because just like Veitnam its failing to win hearts and minds Bullets and bombs is not going to bring about peace in Afganistan. Helping the Afgan people to live better lives would help make a much safer and better future for the country and for the West as well. War there is certainly not the Answer its the problem.
yendytok Says:
Aug 30, 2010 - This is good place to start - A brilliant interview with one of the greatest researchers ever, Professor Antony Sutton, the author of Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution and Wall Street and The Rise of Hitler, where he showes how bankers, businessmen and politicans in the west supported and financed both the communist and the nazis, all according to their hegelian dialectic plan for world control. PLEASE WATCH Antony Sutton - Wall Street & Bolshevik Revolution Part 1.flv .
MrStrawhatlegend Says:
Nov 12, 2010 - @ccc771 How many Afghan children in the lsat 20 years have grown up hating America?
assassin7777777 Says:
Mar 1, 2011 - War in Afghanistan is not winable-Period. No matter how many debates are done, how many soldiers are sent, how many taxpayers dollars are spent... Its not winable...
Bosnian519 Says:
