Mar 1, 2012 - I am am certainly not offended by your comment. I can hear timing issues too, for whatever reason. This is just me slowing down and speeding up as I feel the music. I's just letting the music and mood breathe a bit. All I can say is that a metrononically accurate recital is not the reason I play guitar. I prefer to feel, enjoy and express music and if this means the timing between the notes "suffers" then so be it. I like to feel the music rather than hear it.

I play percussion and when I'm in sober mood, I sometimes retard my timing during a piece, to allow for "space" and to let the music breathe. I think your playing was very nicely done.
