OK Go set up over 1000 instruments over two miles of desert outside Los Angeles. A Chevy Sonic was outfitted with retractable pneumatic arms designed to play the instruments, and the band recorded this version of Needing/Getting, singing as they played the instrument array with the car. The video took 4 months of preparation and 4 days of shooting and recording. There are no ringers or stand-ins; Damian took stunt driving lessons. Each piano had the lowest octaves tuned to the same note so that they'd play the right note no matter where they were struck. Not like they spent years in pain building calluses and writing real music that actually sounds good. I really don't understand my generation and our dumb music, I hate dubstep or what ever relates to it, or auto tune.... Arg! It is so embracing!

There's a learning curve in ALL forms of music whether it be rock or dubstep or classical or hip-hop. Its okay to dislike a form of music. May 28, 2012 - Wow, nothing like people who are ignorant of implications.I said "In a world of free music".MP3's are downloadable anywhere, but iTunes happens to be one of the only places where you can buy the Video, and the funds go towards the band.(Somewhat)I was saying that I would buy it on iTunes to (somewhat) support the band, and get a high quality version of the video.
