Apr 28, 2012 - This guy is a legend. A far cry from the clowns and buffoons who call themselves "musicians" these days (ie Bieber, etc)

May 7, 2012 - This is great. Wes Montgomery rises above the pack in the field of jazz guitar, and is a wealth of jazz guitar enlightenment. Wes was not the flashiest jazz guitarist, but his musicality, taste, and creativity were unparalleled. Never a wasted note. He never overplayed. Everything he played was a part of an idea, and his vision was about as perfect as it has come on the guitar.

May 13, 2012 - he started playing a 6 string. he had played a tenor guitar 4 string since he was a child thats why he uses block chords alot. and music theory was invented for people who dont have perfect pitch like wes

May 14, 2012 - the guy just had it on his hands.
bluesjoe147 Says:
May 14, 2012 - the guy was a genius to develop a style that requires alot of study and muscal theory, and that tricks manny great jazz players to this date, without any musical education..... that was indeed a true genius
