Jan 11, 2012 - @acdcrocklover he is blind. he plays it like you would a piano (on his lap with his hands down) because thats how most blind people play it. kind of like a steel guitar.

Jan 23, 2012 - @1KillerBitch Healey is survived by his wife, Cristie, and two children.[11] A tribute concert was held on May 3, 2008, to benefit Daisy's Eye Cancer Fund, which, according to Cristie Healey, had helped make major strides in research and future advances for people born with the same genetically inherited retinoblastoma[12] which had plagued her husband since he was one year of age. Cristie and Jeff Healey's son was also born with the same disability.[13]

Jan 23, 2012 - Talented? One of the greatest guitarists and singers the world has ever heard. I think it would be politically incorrect (and a fairly crap joke) if I said 'has ever seen'. RIP.

Jan 26, 2012 - @acdcrocklover He was blind, I assume this was the best way for him to learn to play, AC/DC and Jeff Healey rule!

Feb 7, 2012 - I've heard the Prince solo version, the Santana version, Eric Clapton version and even the Peter Frampton version, all done beautifully, really, BUT this one is so SOULFUL that I had tears roll down my face. I can really feel the emotion from the truly GOD gifted man who now sings and plays for Our Heavenly Father... He is for real overlooked, under appreciated amd not recognized by so many who hunger and cry out for for music that can ease and move your soul and thoughts.
notofitjustinit Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - I place Jeff Healy's version squarely along side George Harrison's, No one can over take the man who conceived this great song but only Jeff Healy should be along side him with his heart felt and soulful version.....Resting in the comfort of The Heavenly Father JEHOVAH....Play on Brother Jeff, for your star do shine brighter as you play.
bobzepie Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - @notofitjustinit The beatles got Eric clapton to play lead guitar in this song Harrison played fucking back up.
notofitjustinit Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - I'm well aware of Eric Clapton's lead guitar contributions and his long time friendship with George Harrison, however, it was again conceived by George Harrison, HE BIRTHED THAT SONG, Eric Clapton contributed AFTER the song was CONCEIVED. Also, the Beatles did not ask, George Harrison, his friend did. Now have a nicer day, it's free.
