Dec 30, 2011 - Its more humane to use birth control then to let excess population starve. Only afghanistan, black africa, yeman, gaza have way too high birth rate i.e over 4 kids per breeding age women. Other nations as the people get more education they have less kids and educate their kids i.e quality is better then quantity

Dec 30, 2011 - So if I worked on my family's farm when I was young, that means that it was child labor?
ccadd30 Says:
Dec 30, 2011 - Zing!

Dec 30, 2011 - More mainstream media propaganda.. trying to paint and evil picture of afghans to convince people that the US should send troops to Afghanistan and continue warmongering there.

Dec 30, 2011 - Debt = Slavery? Always? Explain.
marklosextremus Says:
Dec 30, 2011 - despite the fact the US is down scaling its troops there and generally withdrawing?

Dec 30, 2011 - I disagree with your Neo-Malthusian nuttiness.

Dec 30, 2011 - That presumes that wealth will suddenly spring up once regulations are removed (not going to happen). Child labor will undoubtedly spring up right away though. I wouldn't be surprised if schools became a business entirely under your model, and thus education will probably only be available to the wealthy, just like the old days. Keep the poor in their place and the rich in their place.

Dec 30, 2011 - same situation on Pakistan!
pjt Says:
Dec 31, 2011 - Well I hate to be the one to say it but at least its better to have them working than being forced into warlords service. I still think its sad they have to pay off debts like that but its better than slavery at gunpoint.

Dec 31, 2011 - You are delusional if you think government run schools are about education. They are indoctrination centers. Read some history that is not taught in public schools. Read, "The deliberate dumbing down of America", available free online.
craigdavid00 Says:
Dec 31, 2011 - It's the lesser of two evils. Would I prefer a purely privatized model over what we have now? No. The people who are going to cash into a privatized system are surely not your average, ordinary folk who only want the best. Those in power, no different than those in government, will see their opportunity to implement their skewed ideology and will pursue it.

Jan 14, 2012 - you do know theres a war going on over there
svetabozinovic04 Says:
Jan 15, 2012 - It should be! Afgans should know that they ll have constant war untill they change their mind and attitude against rest of the world (they had problems with russians, and later with west). They should show gesture of good will and change their nature, for beginning to stop child abuse (in any way) Till then, rest of the world consider them like sub human being.

Jan 23, 2012 - The Russian war...LOL Afghanistan was supported by the USSR since 1919, that war was another anti communist proxy war backed by the USA. Just another case of the USA causing shit someone else's country.
LesageMathieu Says:
Jan 27, 2012 - There are a lot of countries in the world who provide a good public education. America doesnt (where i come neither, at least not on the primary and secondary level). Its not a question of state intervention rather than a question a low standards and utter disrespect for classical culture.
