Added: Mar 20, 2011
Author: iam4eversmart88
Duration: 13:52
Description:
Video with Source code: http://www.sharpenmysmarts.com/c++%20tutorial%20library/video/l1video.htmlThis will show you how you can write your very first running program using C++. The first thing we need to do is create an empty project and then create a .cpp file. It may seem like there is a lot going on and you may have no idea what is going on but just keep moving forward and the basics will fall into place within the next couple tutorials. You can also copy and paste the code from my videos when you go to my website. It might be a good idea to check out the website from each video because sometimes i may post things that weren't mentioned in the video that may be useful to know. You can ask me questions that i was not clear on and i will answer ASAP. Please provide complements and likes if the vid was good OR constructive criticism if they could be better or just flat out suck. I WILL edit or remake videos if they are horrible in certain areas or if they just flat-out suck and will take your feedback into consideration.

Feb 27, 2012 - My professor is teaching me how to write in C#. I can see subtle differences like << and stuff. Why is he teaching me C# is he just wasting my time?
iam4eversmart88 Says:
Feb 28, 2012 - Absolutely not, C# is a great language to learn. You are probably writing forms if your writing in C# with (checkboxes, text boxes, radio buttons, menues, etc..). The same can be accomplished using a WIN32 application in C++ (Or even from scratch but not likely) but it is a lot more tedious. You will be using several different languages over time and once you have learned one language, the others aren't much harder to learn. Don't think you'r wasting time learning... (continued)
