I bop my head 2 Beyonce tunes &she obviously has yrs of experience (that Alex does not) and a dad that guided her thru the biz but she is, overall, mainly just a performer, yes a good voice but not a great voice. She'll never come close to the likes of Etta James, Christina Aguilera and so many other great vocalists, but Alex, with that smoky tone to her voice has a chance unless she chooses to only sing 'shake your a**' songs and forgettable pop/dance ditties.
