Who would deny that he was one of the finest cricket captain the country ever produced? Imran Khan remarked that it was very difficult to bat with one eye, which Pataudi did with great style. He remained a gentleman all his life. On his death, that is what we remember him for. We are celebrating the achievements and personality of a gentleman.

He never was in the limelight for wrong reasons. He even never coveted a MP or MLA seat, though he very well could.
