In this drum lesson, James Cassells demonstrates several drum parts he played on Reckless & Relentless, the 2011 release from the British metalcore band Asking Alexandria. He covers the closing section from the song "Breathless," the beginning of "Morte Et Dabo," and the intro to "A Lesson Never Learned," then closes the workshop by describing the heel-toe pedaling technique he uses to play some of his more complex bass drum parts.

But I still don't believe fame equals talent, if kids out there like Bieber are as fame as can be, yet completely talentless, it shows how much it takes to be famous. Let them do what they want, but when they start trying to teach (like this guy), I have a problem with it.

May 20, 2012 - If you want to, go check out some videos on double bass that by my friend Spikeydrummer has on his channel.(yes, that is his Youtube user name). I'll hopefully be posting some video lessons about double bass on my channel soon. It's a really fun thing to learn and it's just cool as hell to play. Hope this helps.
