Aug 30, 2011 - I don't think this happens in any other country but America, where a guy like Dick Cheney could do what he did, get away scot-free, & then write a book & make millions. He was instrumental in invading a country - Iraq - that had nothing to do with 9/11, that wasn't harboring terrorists or posing a threat to the USA - and killing hundreds of thousands of people. Innocent people. Children, women, old men. Now he'll make millions. It happens time & time again because Americans don't give a shit.

Sep 17, 2011 - We didn't torture prisoners during WWII. The Nazis were a much greater threat to the US than Al Queda by several orders of magnitude. Neither did the British torture even though they were getting bombed every night. I grew up thinking that one of the aspects of American exceptionalism was that we didn't torture. Cheney changed all that. Cheney's advocating torture has placed the US ampong the dogs of the earth. He deserves to burn in hell along with the Nazis.
