At the end of the day, she is making more money than you and meeting people you only see in your dreams. As a photographer, who has a legitimate job as a photographer, I think she understands the basic principles of light and how to use the camera. There is nothing wrong with what she is doing.Get off the computer and take pictures!

I do portraiture and travel around the world doing landscape photography, not shooting in tents of fashion shows. Traveling the world is hell of a lot better than shooting in tents...just my opinion! chao!

Jan 11, 2012 - I Don;t understand all the criticism - It's obvious that she understands her gear, its strengths and its weaknesses. She also shows and understanding of different lighting and how it's colour affects or compliments certain fashion, and when and how to alter that light so she can use it to her advantage. Sure, she may take a more simpler approach, but obviously nobody's heeard of the KISS mehtod (Keep It Simple, Stupid!). If you ask me, she has all the qualities of a good photog.
