Jul 7, 2011 - (The Yes bootleg you refer to is just that, it isn't part of the official Yes catalog). Rick Wakeman is one of my heroes and so is Bach, who claimed to have been inspired by religion but then so did every other composer of his era - he simply followed the prevailing Zeitgeist of his times. Progressive *can* be like Death, have a listen to Opeth, probably the best Progressive Metal band of our times.

Jul 12, 2011 - So , what´s the matter ? The issue religion should not be a reason for something be faced as strange .Why only when the issue is Christianism we need to hear critics ? And about Bands talking about murdering , raping corpses ? When i mentioned death / Grind was to tell about the need of these styles of speaking about material things ( I particularly enjoy these styles ). But Prog has no formula . It is about the truth inside , in what the musician believe.this is my opinion.

Jul 12, 2011 - Tales from Topographic Oceans is the yes 6° album after close to the edge and before Relayer . And this song The Revealing Science of God ,is in it !! It is not "just that", friend .

SoliSim Says:

Jul 24, 2011 - People criticize christianity because it touches a fragile part in everyone's heart: the truth of a hole in our hearts. It's not about Morse converting, but the hidden truth which some can't catch still, it's ignorance. I'm not judging, but I'm trying to waking up the comment-judges here on youtube. Leave your post for yourself before you judge about what someone should or shouldn't.

Jul 30, 2011 - That's cause neither Peart or Anderson left the band everyone loves them in because of their religious beliefs. ;)

ZeroWhiteNothing Says:

Jul 31, 2011 - I think that the fact of Neal leaving the band in the success age, means that Neal is a fantastic person and true with his feelings and also very mature. If he was an idiot he would do as Roger waters did with Pink Floyd, trying to force the band to follow his convictions . But Morse knew that this walk was his , and he should be as honest as possible with himself and with his fans .

sevenismagicman Says:

Aug 19, 2011 - i think people criticize christianity because it is too REAL for them! aside from that, music is music....if it is good music, i will listen to it, period! this is good music!

xylametazolin Says:

Aug 27, 2011 - No they don't. Many people could not be less interested in Mr. Morse's personal religious views, listen to the music kind Sir.

ZeroWhiteNothing Says:

Aug 31, 2011 - The gaga´s fans never pay attention to the meaning of things , only in the "Music" . But what is the music if not the sum of the experiences of the musician . The peoples that just pay attention to the music are stupid listeners of sounds.

Reversism Says:

Sep 1, 2011 - You nailed it!

Reversism Says:

Sep 1, 2011 - My friend is talking about The Light. For those that don't know what The Light is: Pure Truth, LOVE plain and simple. Hard for many to accept. All you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior John 3:16 What do you have to lose? Your soul? Your friends will laugh as they fall into hell. You want proof? Google" Escape From Hell" to see how easy it is to not be ruined for eternity.

Dec 12, 2011 - The more I listen to SB...the more I realize how great this band was, is, are. I only "discovered" them in the early 2000's. I am going back and watching a lot of the older videos and purchasing some of their older music as well as their current.

TheRealQuester Says:

Dec 14, 2011 - About all the discussion: "I AM THE CATFISHMAAAAN, I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!!"From a Christian.

bassgrooves2 Says:

Jan 17, 2012 - If any Neal Morse fans here haven't done so already, I highly recommend checking t his book Testimony. It is a rather short book, but very enjoyable and revealing as well.

kittensradio Says:

Feb 25, 2012 - Come on. I don't think you can compare Rush to Neal Morse as far as associating their themes to any particular religion. Rush haven't written entire albums about atheism.

luckyluke193 Says:

Mar 3, 2012 - I think very little people criticise Neal Morse for being a Christian. They were sad that he left Spock's Beard and Transatlantic. Fortunately, Transatlantic reunited, and I'm curious to see what he did with Flying Colors.

hmbldzy Says:

Apr 19, 2012 - Goodness gracious -- what a fantastic performance of one of the mightiest debut songs in Prog Rock history.

ODMA2112 Says:

Apr 27, 2012 - Flying Colors is legitimately the best record in the past few years. Never has such a task been tackled so effectively, of creating something new yet familiar, prog but also pop, country rock and even jazz. The lineup speaks for itself, but the record goes further than the sum of its parts. Truly astounding, I recommend it.

GangstaLink Says:

May 11, 2012 - Actually, many Rush fans are VERY divided over Neil Peart's recent take on "NO GOD, YOU ARE ALL STUPID". Personally, I don't mind because I am Atheist. But it is getting old.Snakes and Arrows had some bashing in it, as does BU2B from Clockwork Angels.

Dave Boyer Says:

May 11, 2012 - How can people criticize Neal for being a Christian? It's his belief, what is the point in criticizing another person's believe unless you are too insecure in your own beliefs ...
