The amount of force generated by the toppling upper 32 floors was WAY over what any column can hold. This is a gigantic dynamic load. The floors are "Hung" between the columns. Their entire job is to provide tension to the columns. Remove a floor and its column drops in strength by a factor of 8. Remove 2 floors the column strength drops by a factor of 27.The plane involved about 6 floors. Do the math!!

When WTC 2 comes down the top 32 floors is running through the rest of the structure like wedge. The East wall is sheered off almost INTACT. It rotates over and down. The fulcrum of rotation for that wall is about the 50th floor. It is ENTIRELY devoid of any floors. A 30 or 40 story Ext wall section falling like a slab of roast beef.

This building after the dust settles clearly shows pancaked floors on top of each other, but the WTC is completely pulverized into rubble and small pieces. There are no intact/pancaked floors like the example you show. WTC towers were weakened with thermite and then systematically blown apart from the top down.
