May 22, 2012 - So what you're telling me, is to go out of my way to read conjured, fallacious, biased articles very loosely based on things that have happened (therefore it must absolutely be 100% true in regards to various specific); and that is some how going to prove to me that your Mesopotamian Sky Wizard is a non-fictional being? Also. Not believing =/= Doing abominable works. In fact, history dictates that it's the other way around.

May 22, 2012 - You should probably spell peoples usernames correctly if you want then to actually see/read your response. And why was I on this video? Because I was directed to it from a friend, and wanted to see the brain washing myself. I was not disappointed. And the problem with your logic is that you assume people watch videos they know they're going to dislike, simply "because". No. I like to educate myself on things I believe in, and don't believe in. Religion being one of them.

May 22, 2012 - @Cessate: my apologies in getting your username wrong. :)
Cessate Says:
May 22, 2012 - Only a fool would blindly criticize something they know nothing about. So as I said, I was told to watch the video, and did as such. And with that, I felt the need to comment, which I did.The real question here, "darlin'", is why you wanted to legitimately waste your time with a petty response towards me, tossing out assumptions that I in fact, wasted mine? Are you not technically doing the exact same thing you're accusing me of doing?Hypocrisy, my dear. Look it up.
wilkinziz Says:
May 22, 2012 - @Cessate: With sincerity my prayer for you is that you are blessed. That you're happy and find peace.
wilkinziz Says:
May 22, 2012 - woops - and I should apologize because, in re-reading my original post, I definitely came off sounding flippant. Sorry 'bout that mate! :)
Cessate Says:
May 22, 2012 - Don't waste your prayer on me. I am happy and have everything I need/want in life, but that's all without the need or want of people "praying" for me. If that's what you're into, then do it on something that's worth while to you.
wilkinziz Says:
May 22, 2012 - Challenge accepted - but I choose YOU! ;D (now the only question is...who is getting the last word on these 'replies'?)...
Cessate Says:
May 22, 2012 - Sorry to inform you, but your prayers won't have any effect on me. May as well waste the time on something inanimate, or someone who believes the same as you. Jus sayin'.
wilkinziz Says:
May 23, 2012 - Dang it. Last word is mine ("famous last word" is yours tho!!) woop woop
gestlo Says:
May 23, 2012 - How do you know they are biased? Also, it's not articles. It's verses (most of it) from the bible, along with scientific facts that proves the existence of God and the divine inspiration of the bible. For example, the universe is expanding, just like the bible says. How could the one who wrote it know that? Was it a wild guess? No, he was inspired by God.
gestlo Says:
May 23, 2012 - As far as I know, every point from 1 to 101 has scientific Source(s), that proves the fact/foreknowledge.
gestlo Says:
May 23, 2012 - Yes not believing = doing abominable works. What do you mean by history? Crusades? Inquisition? Those are contrary to The Teachings of Jesus. Real followers of Jesus wouldn't do so.John 13:34-35A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Forcing people to convert by threating with death is not LOve, and goes against the God-given free-will
Cessate Says:
May 23, 2012 - "Scientific Facts that prove the existence of God". That is a blatant fallacy. There is no science depicting that "God" or anything divine exists. Facts require hard evidence and proof. The universe is not expanding, the universe has always been; we're simply just finding out more about it thanks to scientific breakthroughs. We're not living in a slinky. With that logic, ocean depths are never-ending simply because we've never been to the deepest parts of it yet.
Cessate Says:
May 23, 2012 - You seem to be grasping at straws here, to try and justify your unfounded, fallacious logic. Just saying.
gestlo Says:
May 24, 2012 - You are too prideful, you believe you know more than God.1 Corinthians 1:21For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.1 Corinthians 3:19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
Cessate Says:
May 24, 2012 - You confuse pride with with self sufficient free thinking. I don't adhere to fairytale characters telling me what kind of person I should be, or use them as a scapegoat for when I do something I probably shouldn't have. You claim I'm too pride to believe in "God"? Well, you're too delusional to think for yourself.ps: Quoting phrases from a book (a fictional one at that) doesn't add to an argument.
dcummuta Says:
May 26, 2012 - Nothing matters more, not your anger, disbelief, or hate than the fact that you haven't experienced the type/amount of love and joy that God wants to show you... and I actually believe he is going to show you... you just wait... :)
Cessate Says:
May 26, 2012 - That's a nifty assumption you got going there, seeing as how I'm not angry, let alone hateful. How do you justify the logic that anyone who doesn't believe in what you do, is instantly angry and hateful? What about those who practice spiritual/religious things that predates Christianity/Catholicism (Buddhists, Arabs, Native Americans, Paganism, non-biblical Satanism, Wiccan, Mayan, Egyptian)? Are all these people as angry and hateful as I apparently am, because they don't believe your "God"?
dcummuta Says:
May 27, 2012 - I wasn't talking about all of those people I was talking about you... Why are you on here....? Because it seems like you must be missing something from your life if you spend your time trying to tare apart core beliefs of others... That seems very angry and very hateful to want to tare down the beliefs of others that bring them so much peace and so much happiness and fulfillment in their lives... so you answer your own questions with your own actions...
Cessate Says:
May 27, 2012 - You single me out then? And judge me based on nothing? How very Un-Christian of you.I believe I explained why I came to this video already. Perhaps read that comment instead of conjuring absurd fallacies about a stranger over the internet.I'm tearing apart nothing. I'm responding to comments from people who feel the need to argue my base opinion. Did I start a convo with anyone who's spoken to me since? No. That is clearly seen. You can't talk to me and then put blame on me when I respond.
dcummuta Says:
May 27, 2012 - Alright alright... I just know that none of these conversations usually amount to anything... and no that is not very un-Christian of me to care and hope that you would find the Love that I know from my God... because I felt by your words that I read that you must have a hole somewhere in that heart of yours if you spend so much time doing what ever it is you want to call what you are doing... just hoping thats all... have a good day! and yes I'm still going to pray for you.
Cessate Says:
May 27, 2012 - You assume random inquiries of a person based on whether or not they believe exactly as you do. And if they don't, then clearly they have a hole in their life and don't know love. Yeah, makes sense.I don't need love from a fable, I have plenty of it from living, breathing, beings that are able to be proven exist. I call them friends and family.Doing whatever it is I'm doing? Did you miss the bit where you're the one who took the time to comment to me? I'm simply responding to your drivel.
Cessate Says:
May 27, 2012 - ps: Your prayers are not wanted, needed, and will go unheard.
