May 17, 2012 - The Constellation definitely had some sort of haunting (perhaps residual). When I was 14 and the Constellation was sitting in disrepair at a berth further inside Baltimore's harbour, my two sisters and I went on board. Everything was fine and fun until I descended the centre stairs that go down to the bilge area. As soon as I set foot in the bilge area I could sense the presence of two men (one nasty and the other very impressionable) and a boy of about 12.

I also sensed that as you moved forward from that point in the ship, the sense of what had happened grew stronger, so I warned my sisters not to go forward. There is a second set of steps just forward of the centre stairs I had come down. I got my sisters and got back to mid-decks as quickly as possible.

May 17, 2012 - Several years later, one of my sisters came into my room with a Ghost Stories book she had been reading. In the book it told of a ghost investigator (Hans Hozler) and a medium (Edith Meyers) going onto the Constellation. Meyers also sensed two men and a boy in the bilge area where I had, and with the same sorts of personalities.

May 17, 2012 - I revisited the Constellation after I graduated from university, just to see if what I'd sensed when I was 14 was still there. I really didn't want it to be, and busied myself chatting with some Dutch tourist down in the bilge. No sense of presence seemed evident to me. I asked a ticket seller on my way out if the shipped had ghosts. She readily said it seemed to, as the burgler alarm would often go off and the guard dogs would inspect anywhere on the ship, except the bilge area.
