Description:
150+ Fox News Bias videos at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A3BD2524FE99BD4DWhen Fox News' Harris Faulkner reported Texas Gov Rick Perry's announcement he's running for the Republican nomination for US President, the subsequent story on recent Texas rain was especially insidious in the way it possibly undermined the science behind man-made climate change and hid the actual ineffectiveness of Rick Perry's public prayers, as I show in this video. The clip I show of Harris Faulkner comes from a longer segment of Fox News' August, 13, 2011, broadcast of "The Fox Report" (which I have not found available online)The clip I show of the late, great comedian Bill Hicks comes from a longer segment of Comedy Central's February 24, 1992, broadcast of "The A-List" available online at http://bit.ly/HicksDroughtThe image I use of Texas Gov. Rick Perry's April 21, 2011, proclamation calling for prayers for rain comes from the webpage at http://bit.ly/PerryRainPrayerThe image I use of the August 13, 2011, Dallas Morning News article titled "Rain showers give area a little welcome relief" comes from the webpage at http://dallasne.ws/nlzvQwThe image I use of the drought prediction from the National Weather Service's Climate Prediction Center comes from the webpage at http://1.usa.gov/p5dPTZThe image I use of the drought prediction from the 2007 article in Science magazine comes from the webpage at http://bit.ly/SWDroughtThe image I use of the August 13, 2011 NY Times article titled "As Texas Dries Out, Life Falters and Fades" comes from the webpage at http://nyti.ms/r2TCDo

Mar 7, 2012 - people believe in this stuff because it somehow brings them comfort. It also helps them cope with their fear of death.

Mar 19, 2012 - For your 2 questions. Both unlikely, they just want to push christian agenda again i think. But if i have to choose, option one: not likely, it's too superficial to sink in the average fox news watcher, option 2: Probably

strittan Says:

Apr 20, 2012 - I love your videos, LiberalViewer, but I have to say you're wrong about one particular thing in this one. You refer to "man-made climate change." This is a false claim. Earth have had at least five major ice ages in the past, which means this is not the first, nor the last climate change that Earth will experience. Sure, we may have speed it up a little, but it's not man-made.Other than that I agree with every point you have made in every single video. :)

Robolizardslayer Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - Compare the rate of historical CO2 pollution to the rate of ocean acidification and the beginning of the modern increase in temperature, and you'll see why the 'cyclic' arguement doesn't stand up.

Robolizardslayer Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - That's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

hj7397 Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - Bill Hicks: Another dead heroDo you get the reference? If so, then I love you.

Apr 22, 2012 - I'm praying for the death of Rick Perry. And the good folks at Fox News. It will happen! Sometime within the next few decades my prayers will be answered, I know it!

TheJuzy Says:

Apr 23, 2012 - Wtf is a "god"?? Srsly, i've been on these american youtube vids lately and "god" keeps popping up :S What da fuq is it? some kind of fruit?

TheHigherVoltage Says:

Apr 25, 2012 - Jesus would have made it rain earlier, but Thor wouldn't let him out of his cage.

strittan Says:

Apr 26, 2012 - Of course, CO2 pollution is not good. I haven't said it is either, but I don't believe it's the entire truth. I just said that climate change is not man made, even though we have made it stronger. To be honest it's really difficult to know who is right, because there are scientists on both ends, claiming completely different things. According to some studies, we've now had a long enough warming period to soon face a new ice age, but that's not gonna happen over night of course.

Jonassoe Says:

May 27, 2012 - Every day I pray that hundreds of poor children in Africa will die of thirst or starvation. So far, the good Lord has ever failed to answer my prayers!
