Dec 7, 2011 - Interesting fact, classical music is using rocket artillery, which i shape of what used in cartoon, was only introduced in 1939. Disney foreseen the future? :D

Dec 27, 2011 - I wish disney channel would play these old cartoons like they use to, even if it was late at night. The reason they don't... everyones got TiVo or DVR

Dec 28, 2011 - Starts out a tad slow, but it sure makes up for lost time. The visualization of the war was amazing, especially when the massed batteries of Symphony Land returned fire. "Land" genre cartoons are often among the most imaginative and fun as they carry out their monological premise.

Jan 4, 2012 - At 4:35 the song is "The Prisoner's Song", composer credit is usually listed as Vernon Dalhart & Guy Massey(Dalhart's cousin). The song was first recorded by Dalhart in 1924 on Victor records(ancestor to RCA Victor). Cute musical reference to incarceration; "If I had the wings of an angel, over these prison walls I would fly..." Also, the giant metronome as a jailhouse is great!

Jan 22, 2012 - Realize the actual power of music.People in America understand what they are saying. People in Spain, in Germany, in Rusia, in China, in Japán, in Argentina, in Mexico, in Finland, anywhere. And not a single word was ever spoken through the whole short.
