Dec 11, 2011 - The comparison to Last Tango In Paris is inspid. This is just some French girl who mopes around for the majority of the movie and the tedium is momentarily broken by a few pretty good sex scenes. That's it. It's slightly elevated porn. Last Tango was something more than it's sex scenes. Brando gives (in my opinion) his best performaance---yes, better than The Godfather. It really laid him bare and he vowed never to personalize a character like that ever again. True to his word he never did.

I tried to watch her other "erotic" movie Anatomy of Hell, which is just as dull and pretentious and disgusting. But my favorite moment is when the unnamed male character walks in on the female sitting the rest room of a disco cutting open her wrists. He asks: 'Why did you that?" She responds: "Because I am a woman." Bravo.
