Dec 12, 2011 - I listened to this whilst reading the last few pages of Inheritance. It was beautiful and sad at the same time.

Dec 12, 2011 - @moscow3times If Inheritance is a movie, this song really should play in the end credits. It fits the ending so well.

Dec 13, 2011 - My father-in-law-to-be died suddenly less than a year ago. This song has been ever since the one song that helps me cope with the loss. And the one which allows me to weep, cry and mourn. What a pity.

Dec 15, 2011 - was played at my uncles funeral as the certain closed on his coffin. He loved lord of the rings and fantasy, and never really escaped from it. Was a perfect fitting for it, we even place a sword on top of the coffin like the knights of old. Was a moving ceremony
MeapyMeaps Says:
Dec 15, 2011 - If you like this, you'll like "Use Well the Days", too. This replaced it, but it can still be found- and it's very good.

Dec 16, 2011 - The "why do the white gulls call" bit made me cry, I lost my brother and he really meant everything to me I wasn't sure of going on with life. But my boyfriend just gave me the will to live on. I known him since ober seven years and we're even thinking of marriage. I still think it's hard to live on without him. RIP Chris.

MegaGirl4God Says:
Dec 18, 2011 - many people dont realize this, the reason we like movies, is because of the feelings it gives us. when you love something, you get a happy feeling, the same feeling you get when you reach the end of the LOTR series and this song is played. that is why i love this movie.
kvoltti Says:
Dec 18, 2011 - @TheTweetbirdie makes sense, the song was written in part as a tribute to a young filmmaker that Jackson had befriended who had passed away from cancer. when the soul of a song is so true it transcends boundaries and we see the truth of it
Trumpetfluteplayer Says:
