I did "tackle" tying this particular pattern after watching your video a few times and getting my gear together and organized. This past Sunday I was able to catch two very nice blue gills from some flooded weeds, as well as the back of my right ear. (I was a bit excited about catching a fish on my own fly and fumbled my cast!) I always mash the barbs, though, so both fish and I were easily released.Thanks again.

I have quite a while ago learned to manually whip-finish my tying efforts, but I doubt I could duplicate your finishing knots.
