Jun 22, 2011 - Some of these are complete 3d packages(incl. modeling, texturing, animation etc) like maya, 3ds max, cinema 4d AND others are just 3d modeling programs like ZBrush, modo etc.What the whole world recommends(incl. me) is ZBrush for highly detailed 3d modeling(It does everything in detail) & Autodesk Maya for complete animation(Used for creating all the mind blowing animations that we see today from commercials to games to movies...Best of luck XD

Sep 28, 2011 - i know how ya feel i just got started with maya after a year with blender 3D and if you never used blender i will tell you that its modeling just mind numbingly easy once you get used to it but now although i love maya its modeling isn't as simple.
