May 11, 2012 - 0:20 the baby grabs the lips and teeth of the Rott and the Rott shows absolutely no physical gestures or movments of aggressiveness, just waits there while the baby plays. at 0:33 the baby's attention and physical contact of the Rott goes away, and the Rott himself looks for more contact by the baby. That Rott is great.

May 13, 2012 - ive personally never known a bigger sized dog (labs, german shepards, rotties etc) that ever had a mean streak but ironically just about every little dog (like Chihuahuas and other small terriers) i have known have been MEAN MEAN MEAN thats why I do not like little dogs..they make me more nervous than big dogs. Even a chihuahua could do some damage to a small child or baby but no one wants to admit it!!!! id rather own a snuggly gentle giant than a nasty mean little dog.

May 14, 2012 - @midomaski I know that feel. Our daddy Rott just had a litter of puppies and died before he could play with them because the vets told us that the large lump on his nose was from fighting wasps, little did we know it was from a very poisonous snake. He fought the poison for months, when other dogs(or people) would be dead long before he gave up. Damn doctors don't know anything except the money in their bank accounts.

May 20, 2012 - Rotts are better natured than labs, but more dangerous than Pitts when they need to be.

May 22, 2012 - Having such a young child with this breed of dog is dangerous. Don't you read all those news articles about the rotweiler/pitbull that kill the babies/toddlers.
massmurder32 Says:
May 22, 2012 - Fuck all the haters of the certain bread of dog!! All the bad rep they get is because of owners not the dog!!
Punjabisoorma24 Says:
May 24, 2012 - A simple google search of "Dog kills baby" produced endless results. Looks like I'm right. So fuck you bitch!
jeeshwa123 Says:
May 26, 2012 - Rottis are actually the friendliest, most family oriented breed available. The media paints them as monsters when a terrible owner treats it very poorly and the dog goes nuts. Whenever I see photos of people that got jacked up by rots or pit bulls, I only feel bad for the dog. They're not born killers, something did that to them :c

May 27, 2012 - Anyone who thinks the news is a good source of information needs to not discuss issues. The same issue happens with soldiers. I'm a 5 year infantryman who went to Iraq during the surge. It's a pain in the ass for me to get a job because the media calls us "ticking time bombs." It took me almost a year to get a job that wasn't temporary. It's not the dog. It's the owner and the media. There's no profit in happy dog stories so they ONLY air the bad ones.
DesertWarriorBoy Says:
May 27, 2012 - I'm a really nice guy. I respect people and I love talking to people. I'm extremely social. But once people find out I'm a combat veteran the first thing some of them do is ask me if I killed any children. WTF?! No!! We don't kill children. That's NOT what we do. But the media focuses so much on the less than 1% of soldiers who do bad things so we ALL suffer. Same thing with these dogs. Out of all dog attacks combined rotties and pitties are actually in the lowest branch of reported dog attacks.

May 9, 2012 - it is the way they are raised. ever heard of labs attacking? they do when mistreated. any breed will attack if mistreated or raised to do so. i love rotts and pitts, and dobies. please DO NOT mistreat animals, and they will not mistreat YOU. my hubby had a black labrador that was mistreated and guess what it attacked his sister and had to be put asleep. i love labs but they can be just as nasty. no one ever says anything about the german shepards, but they too can be bad. think about it.
