May 3, 2012 - Loved this group and this song. I was a little... no, a LOT.... envious of Billy Davis, Jr. because of his marriage to Marilyn McCoo. She is so beautiful and they are such a lovely couple and were, I believe, the core reason for the success of the 5th Dimension. Heck, a few years later, I used to watch "Solid Gold" just to see Marilyn hosting.

May 9, 2012 - Reminds me of summers in the late '60s, when my only "job" (as an 8 through 10-year-old) was to lounge on the porch, read used "Archie" comic book after comic book (the entire "Archie" series; at 3 cents to a nickel a piece, I'd by a 2.5-inch stack (no sweat), for the week -- and then trade 'em in for a new stack of used comics. Ahh those were the days! 10 cents for a giant rope of cherry licorice, a dime for a 16-ounce bottle of Coke or Pepsi, 5 cents for an ice cream cone ... take me back!!!

If rap is not good music now, & I agree it is not;the fault lies with those who purchase the crap & not nec w the artist. They put out what makes money for themselves & the industry, believe me Black America may be responsible for rap music, but not for the success of it n cur form or its past form. All music sales past & present is mostly from White America.
