Jun 22, 2011 - Heaven Up Here, is one of the best albuns of all times, in my humble opinion. This is one of my favs. Also, let me tell you that this music, had a great influence in my decidion to learn and play bass. The "swing" of the bass, is awesome. Ian voice is one of the best (and underated), and the composition itself, is geniuos. I stoped listen to Heaven up Here some years ago, due to so many times I listened. Now is time to play it again.

Oct 20, 2011 - i remember moving to U.S. from PUERTO RICO in 1989, i was 14yo and craving music, but something that would change me and blah blah. well, that happned the day i went to the flea market and got ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN's LP PORCUPINE. i looked at the picture, so dark and atmospheric, went home, played it in my cheap, old TURntable and....that was it. for about four years i was literally obscess, and in a way still am.

Its like Townshend and LIfehouse- because if it had been presented as a double album it would simply have been too powerful for Pete to survive for long. Also by 1984 Maggie was clearly confirmed in power and the point of all the great bands of the time led by genuises was over - the Pistols, Clash, Echo, Pretenders, Sioux -they were all shock troops of the left and right.
