Imagine doing a long climb at 400w, if you can do 450 Watts then you will not only drop everyone but win by a large margin.I also highly doubt that Davide Cassani is bringing this up for nothing, the Gruber unit was designed and built to be stealth, hidden and used on road racing bikes. If people want an electric bike they could get MUCH cheaper models, not a $2800 Gruber.

There are better and significantly enhanced models available than the Gruber Assist, but of course, more costly. Lastly, Gruber was primarily built for MTB use.
