Nov 27, 2011 - I put a handfull of steel wool in a mason jar and fill it with water and put a fish tank air pump in the jar and let it sit. After about a day and letting the rust settle the mason jar has about an inch of rust on the bottom. I then siphon the water off the top and put a rare earth magnet in a sandwich bag and get all the contaminates out. Then let it dry. Pretty simple. Havent gotten the alluminum yet.
