Mar 30, 2012 - When you substituted sin^2 = 1-cos^2 and found a quadratic equation and two answers did you not just substitute sin^2 + cos^2 = 1 and get 100cos -100(1)? That answer is only half your solution: pie, what math property did I over look to only get half the answer?
