Billy Bob''s pissed off at the interviewer because it had been previously agreed on that Billy Bob's acting and directing work wouldn't be used in the introduction to the interview. The guy doing the interview is the real arrogant prick in this situation for not respecting the terms previously agreed on for the interview.

It's seems probable that not only did the interviewer introduce Billy Bob as a Hollywood superstar, but rambled on about it for quite a while. For the rest of the band busting their butts (Three records in one year!) The interviewer was taking away from the work that they are putting into music.

May 20, 2012 - Billy Bob is a great talent but CLEARLY he and every member of the group were pissy from word one. When BB replies to the first question its pretty obvious he's in a belligerent funk. Jian did the best he could with this situation. I probably would have been fired after pounding Billy Bob with the mic. Too much ego was brought into the studio. I hope in retrospect he realizes what a dink he was on that particular day.

They had a contest to build their own monster, not buy plastic models. -- Very clever point he made. He requested that his film career not be mentioned, and they just blatantly ignored it. May 27, 2012 - This is pretty weird. I'm reading Billy Bob's book and he talks about this a little. He basically said he asked the guy not to mention it before the interview, and he did. If he personally asked him that, he probably shouldn't have mentioned it, even if it isn't a big deal to mention it in the first place.

Jian respected that and as he says in the interview, only mentioned it early on to give some context. I'm sure Jian didn't mean to offend him.
