May 18, 2012 - Seriously, I can't take any screenshot of gameplay from Gears and 90% of the palette they use in Gears is brown. They can just take the Unreal Engine 3.5 and make another generic brown shooter. Because it's easy. Think about Team Fortress 2. Such a vibrant game. But look at the palette of it. The developers had to write a different set of shaders specifically for that looks, where as Gears and CoD can just use brown shaders straight from the Unreal Engine box.

May 19, 2012 - Overall this game deserves an 8/10 beacuse the story pretty bad since act one, four (first half) has nothing to do with the story progression. More characters should of died since doms death was predictable eversince the teaser trailer 4 GOW2.

May 20, 2012 - That too, but they mainly use brown because it's the unreal engine 3.5 and brown is easy. They just use out of the box shaders from the engine. Half-Life 2, a dark and depressing game, is vibrant and fun, unlike gears.

The free-running from Assassins Creed, the cover-based shooting from GOW, the treasure hunting from Tomb Raider, and the general theme from Indiana Jones. It's basically the formula for the best game ever. It's fun and I love it, but it just ends up being bland across the board.

May 22, 2012 - Wrong. Their contract was only for two games, so technically, they could have made Gears of War 3 for PS3 too if they wanted too but they didn't. So, while Epic is a multiplatform developper, they are clearly satisfied developping for the 360 exclusively when it comes to Gears. In fact, they were developping another Gears game, Gears of War: Exile for 360 only. (though it was canceled)
