May 20, 2012 - Yees, that's exactly what I was pointing out ! That we are completely desensitized to pleas of genuine help ! We need fucking marketing schemes even to help our own ! But, is this ok ? Should we go on and promote such behavior ? At some point we'll just get desensitized to that too. So, I am asking you again, is THIS the right way in long term ?

It's only frustration, because people of your kind fill the Facebook pages with pics of mutilated children and animals and think that sharing or liking those pages actually helps. People like you need to be shocked into helping people, they don't do it by default. I would have helped that blind man even without reading the fucking sign, get the point now ?

That will have to keep evolving as to what motivates donations, you're right -- but so does all advertising. I do get your frustration -- I was disgusted when thousands of people wanted to adopt the one little Somali (?) famine girl who was being stalked by a vulture in that AP photo, and what about 1000s of other kids already dead from hunger? But that's humans. You have to work with what we are, not should be.

May 23, 2012 - Its crazy how much we take for granted, when this guy cant even see. I would like to sit there and just talk to him and keep him company. I met a homeless guy who lost everything and he was one of the nicest people i have ever met. Its just sad to see people who have either lost everything or just werent given a good hand in life. :(

May 24, 2012 - Most people dont really care. The homeless guy was at VA beach. He would sleep on the benches at the boardwalk every night. I was only there for a few days to attend Warped Tour. I went their recently and never saw the man so idk whats become of him.
