Jan 1, 2011 - Great Danes are mostly 'colour bred' so the different strains are only bred to themselves, i.e fawns and brindles are only bred to fawns and brindles, blacks and blues, harlequins and and blacks. That is why the fawn and brindle Great Danes will always be more refined and closer to the standard than a Harlequin.

Feb 14, 2012 - i had a great dane (scooby) she lived to be 12 and we had to put her down because of bone cancer.. what an awesome dog though i cant wait to get another

Mar 5, 2012 - @XDm45carrier Aw I'm so sorry for your loss. We just put down our great Dane (gabby aka baby) because she had bone cancer. She was 13. So hard because she was so strong. She could have kept going if it weren't for the cancer.
