Markus Schulz.Celebrated for their high-concept events, the theme of this year's Transmission is Digital Madness. On the Global DJ Broadcast World Tour episode from Ibiza in early September, Markus gave his auditory anthem for the event its radio premiere. 'Digital Madness' - the track is a heavy calibre stadium-sized hell-raiser, which dynamically pitch-bends, distorts and cranks the synths inexorably to a titan of a climax.Digital Madness has gone on to become one of the highlights of Markus' livesets - from his performance for DJ Mag's Top 100 Awards at Passenger Terminal in Amsterdam; to the Escape from Wonderland extravaganza held near to Los Angeles. The track has also received radio support through Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance and Corsten's Countdown with Ferry Corsten.Historically, Markus' Transmission connections have run deep. He's already recorded anthems for two previous events ('The New World' and last year's 'Future Cities') and having played the last six Transmission years, he's their resident in all but name. So taken was he by the city (and his on and off the decks experiences there) that in February of this year Markus' based his annual city mix comp in Prague.
