They share culture, art, language, knowledge, everything. There are a lot of Muay school at that time. Some in Thai area, some in Khmer area. Every school have some difference style. I think it can't be wrong if they call every school in Thai area as Muaythai.

Jun 23, 2011 - You can't, Bignube was rightM. Boran is what Muay Thai was before they began regulating it to any degree. The style changed because people weren't meant to put each other in comas each fight anymore as such, the style changed a bit to be even more effective under the new rules.Muay Thai is what you are looking for, take it, then master it in back alleys and slums and you'll be getting as close as possible to Muay Boran.

May 9, 2012 - Anyone can make up a few moves, add it to Muay Thai and call it Muay Boran. I wonder if there are real masters who could come together to see which ones are authentic (match eachother) and which ones are lies.
