Description:
Trainging a fighter competing for a UFC title must be old hat for Greg Jackson by now, but of course its rare that both fighters once trained under his careful watch. Additionally Jackson talks about his game plan for Carlos Condit heading into this Saturdays fight for the interim Welterweight belt against Nick Diaz

Feb 15, 2012 - In my humble opinion . Nick Diaz took rounds 1,2,5 and Carlos took 3 and four. I was a big condit fan ... I'm not really too excited about ever seeing him fight again. I was cheated out of a fight .. And the judges scores were so off .. Obvious fixed fight . This fight was nothing but bad for the evolution of MMA . Carlos , lick your belt. They won't fix your fight with GSP , your in trouble.

Feb 17, 2012 - All this bullshit about "Diaz this round and that one" is fuckin ridiculous. Diaz lost to a superior fighter, end of story. Condition landed 50% more strikes than Diaz which means for every 2 strikes landed by Diaz, 3 were landing for Condit. because a fighter is walking forward doesn't mean shit especially when they're getting punched and kicked in the process.

Feb 23, 2012 - JACKSON CAMP = SAFTY-FIRST BITCHES !!!JAPANESE MMA = THE BEST !!!

DrunkenPoetic Says:

Feb 26, 2012 - Yeah, Diaz is a better street fighter than Condit and would win in a brawlBut that does not make him a better "fighter".Diaz is only a good street fighter by MMA standards. In any city in any country on Earth there's dozens of thugs who are better street fighters than Diaz.If MMA only consisted of two thugs planting their feet and swinging for the fences then Diaz would get nowhere.Diaz ultimately falls into the category of "technical fighter", not "brawler" - just like Condit.

Mar 1, 2012 - Hahaha, that made my day. :)

Mar 23, 2012 - what I dont understand is for over years and years the japanese fighters or fighters and actors with a japanese martial arts background like yamamoto, okami, kosaka, sakuraba, even, van Damme, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee or Steven Seagal.... THEY ALL WOULD SUCK IN MMA... MMA is the sport of fighting, the only guy to have really succeed in MMA with japanese MA background is Lyoto Machida. I dont count GSP cause even if he is a BB in Kyokushin he kills guys with his wrestling...

man61x Says:

Mar 23, 2012 - the guys we should have admire from back then was the brazilian fighters, you tell me it would gave us horrible action movies with jiu-jitsu but the point is EFFECTIVENESS IN A FIGHT and japanese arts did not proved to be really effective, entertaining yes,but not effective. Will we ever see a shaolin monk in MMA succeeding? hell no! or a aikido guy or a kung fu guy! the only real effective martial art in japan is judo but yet who does that?, akiyama, parisyan, ronda rousey, fuck japs go brazil!

HistoryHmoobGuy Says:

Mar 24, 2012 - There are tons of successful Asian MMA fighters and also in K-1 and in Boxing !You know why you dont really see allot of good Asian fighters ?, because you are just a UFC noob !... You are not a fighting fan, because if you are ?, you would see that Asian fighters are the best and the smartest !

man61x Says:

Mar 30, 2012 - dude, im not a noob im 24 and ive been to lots of MMA nights like when Jeremy Horn tapped out David Loiseau like in 2003 or something... when Menjivar fought st-pierre... im from MTL and 90% of people here know GSP and MMA since UFC 83! Im around MMA since Rutten and the Shamrocks were ruling pancrase but for real there were a lot of good asian fighters over the years... but 100x more brazilians... and if you count the population percentage, americans, mexicans, canadians, russians are better so

GlidarnMadness Says:

Apr 13, 2012 - hahahahahahaha that so fukin funny man!

HistoryHmoobGuy Says:

Apr 13, 2012 - and all white people get their ass whoop in boxing. The Asian fighters who lose in MMA are paired up with bigger and more powerful wrestlers who uses strength to over-power Asian fighters, but skills for skills ? Asian fighters are better !Most Asian fighters dont do good in UFC, because UFC rules and scoring criteria sucks !, and also UFC is racist toward Asian fighters

AlwonDomz Says:

Apr 19, 2012 - Even though this fight is all said and done Bas should of at most given Nick a "3" in wrestling.

Entriken133 Says:

Apr 25, 2012 - You forgot crying 10/5

danielgwenny Says:

May 4, 2012 - Jackson...bad for fighting.

MrPhukYu Says:

May 21, 2012 - I think you're confusing "crying" with 'speaking the truth.'

Entriken133 Says:

May 21, 2012 - No its crying. He cried after he fought BJ Penn, because he did not want to show up to anything for his GSP title fight. His crying got him another shot, but he had to fight Condit. Then after losing he cried and retired, because he did not finish the fight when he had the chance (he even admitted to it). UFC felt bad for him and promised him a rematch and Diaz goes and screws that up, because he was too lazy to get his Marijuana license checked by the athletic commission. So crying is accurate.

MrPhukYu Says:

May 21, 2012 - Nah, you're confusing "crying" with speaking the truth & being real. I wouldn't expect you to get him - real recognize real, & you clearly aint real.

Entriken133 Says:

May 21, 2012 - So that is your argument. "you aint real?" You really are a Diaz fan haha. Bunch of clueless goofs. I am sorry your idol is an idiot and has ruined his chances to be champ. UFC has practically spoon fed the belt to him, but he just keeps screwing up. I do not feel bad for him one bit.

MrPhukYu Says:

May 21, 2012 - You're clearly just a mentally challenged Diaz hater... & as I always say: it's better to be a positive fan rather than a negative hater.

Entriken133 Says:

May 21, 2012 - I am mentally challenged? Let us check the facts here:You commented to me saying Diaz is speaking the truth. I presented you with evidence against that showing that he is a cry baby, and you replied with "You clearly aint real" Personally I could care less if you are a Diaz fan, I just get tired of hearing all of you saying he got ripped off. He had three chances and blew them all based on his own actions.

MrPhukYu Says:

May 21, 2012 - You presented no proof. All you did was take what Diaz has said & interpreted it in your own biased way. You're clearly out of touch with reality... that's on you.

Entriken133 Says:

May 21, 2012 - I took my info straight from the horses mouth. "I should of finished the fight when I had a chance, but I thought I was winning in points" He decided not to win, that is on him.

MrPhukYu Says:

May 21, 2012 - Yes... he speaks the truth. Thank you for validating my point. If you want to miscontrue his realness - then that's on you.

ironman145614 Says:

May 26, 2012 - how can condit have 4 in grappeling and a 4 in endurance when he is known to gas and has no good PROVEN ground game
