May 28, 2012 - first mistake, that key on the nexus is for multitask purposes showing your the most recent app used, removing them there doesn't mean you actually close the app, it just remove from the list of most recent app while the actual thing is still running in the background. Proper way to close them is going Application > Running Application > Force close running application. second mistake, unlike iphone, pressing home button isn't going to close the app in android,you're just hiding it in background
