May 17, 2010 - They can be trained to do certain things for treats (like stand still for their harness, go into their crate, etc.) It's all about food...

Jan 14, 2011 - I guess it would be impossible to keep one as a housepet? I know people sometimes keep skunks and ferrets, also mustelids, but badgers wanna dig and can be a lot more dangerous. Plus I doubt someone could get a permit in most states to keep them. We don't have badgers in Pennsylvania, but I would love to be able to interact with them. There aren't even any at the Pittsburgh zoo. Super animal!

Feb 12, 2011 - I grew up on a farm in Minnesota. There were lots of badger holes at the sides of roads, but I never saw one. I was told they were extremely dangerous and that they could outfight anything twice their size. I always kept a safe distance!
