Square Enix is another Japanese developer being hit hard by the conversion from Japanese games to NA games. This change isn't quite understood, but if the FF games were remade from 7 on up, they could potentially be a success. If ppl can get to rexperience or experience the magic then FF could come back up. Otherwise be swallowed by Microsoft.

Feb 5, 2012 - @kitesalet yea without a doubt i love ff7 for it's exciting story and all those sad history with cloud having so much pain, though some may think ff7 remakes were made too much but it reveal alot of ff7's history to us, well as for ff8 it's more on love story, but somehow i understand if they dont make out more out of ff8, since it's hard to continue from what we saw is happy ending, since the past of squall is already reveal and the future is pretty much predicted :D

Feb 7, 2012 - @mamba5445 if they remade it, two major things that they'd have to fix for me is that your party needs to stop being so schizo about your actions (one minute they want Squall to forget everyone and save Rinoa, then one disc later they say the exact opposite) and the scene where they're alone in the Ragnarok. By that time, he'd thought about his feelings for quite a while. I wish he would've at least returned Rinoa's attitude.

Feb 10, 2012 - @kitesalet The only reason FFVII is widely as popular as it is was because it was the first in the series to be on the PSX. While I do not hate the game, I have major issue with calling it the one with the best history. It's actually pretty mediocre compared to when I played it when it first came out. The story wasn't that compelling and was schizophrenic at times. Out off the main FF games I think IX was probably the strongest of the 3 on the psx. Though I did have an issue with the art design.
