Description:
www.ProGuitarShop.com - The Xotic EP Booster is a discrete FET preamp pedal with a low impedance output. The EP Booster was based around the classic preamp side of an Echoplex and produces a shimmering boost tone that adds some high end sparkle and definition. The Xotic EP Booster features up to 20db of gain on tap and two internal DIP switches to customize the boost. One is a Bass Boost and the other is a Bright switch. The default setting is Bright on/Bass Boost off. This provides extra sparkle for the darker sounding instruments and is great for that extra edge or shimmer. The Bass Boost adds just the right amount of low end for single coils to keep up. By turning off the Bright Switch you can get a full frequency boost that is transparent and gives you back what you put into it. The Xotic EP Booster is a versatile boost pedal with more options than it appears. For that classic tone youve been searching for, check out the Xotic EP Booster. - http://proguitarshop.com/store/boost-pedals-c-43/xotic-ep-booster-p-1338

Nov 11, 2011 - I leave this pedal on at all times with it's level set to 0. It still improves the signal and adds a light smoothness that is only truly noticeable when you turn the pedal off and on while sustaining a note. I love it and use it at the front of my chain. Once you have one you will not want to get rid of it :P

Jan 27, 2012 - This pedal makes any kit sound better! If you use a Digital modeler you will be amazed at the warmth & fatness this adds to your sound! I use it with my Tonelab and Trademark 60 for recording. I use it live with my Mesa Boogie and it's never off! Best pedal I've bought in years. Can't recommend it enough!

Apr 25, 2012 - Hey PGS,I see using this pedal is great for pushing your clean amp into overdrive, but how about using it on a lower setting for treating signal loss? will it color your tone a lot? BTW I love your videos. Andy's the man!

May 22, 2012 - Hi PGS, I was planning on buying an RC booster, but no that I saw this vid, I was wondering what would be the difference between buying the EP or RC. I would probably use whichever one i buy as a boost for solos or to have a clean that breaks a bit with not so much overdrive. thanks! @ProGuitarShopDemos
