lolisho0 Says:
May 19, 2012 - this trailer isnt serious right? cuz dust 514 is an online game but this looks like some kind of campaign gameplay , so this must be a announcing trailer , am i correct?
Th3Bl4ckPh03n1x Says:
May 19, 2012 - Nope, this shit is serious. Like, seriously serious. It's like a 300 000 people city-state, galaxy wide, with it's own industry, alliances, politics and wars. I encourage you to take a look at EvE trailers. Specificaly: Causality, Butterfly Effect, Dominion and Tyrannis.
jmcfar8947 Says:

May 20, 2012 - CCP already anwser that months ago. Why people don't do a little research?
WINxTEC Says:
May 20, 2012 - No, it is actually one of the objectives to conquer the district of the planet.
lolisho0 Says:
May 20, 2012 - yes but i ment this video looks more like a trailer then a gameplay trailer , i dont think the actual game will look like this cuz as i said this looks like a campaign lvl or something...
Helge129 Says:
May 22, 2012 - No, in Dust 514 you capture areas on Planets for EVE Players.
microoo101 Says:
May 22, 2012 - Not necessarily for EVE players, Dust mercs can also capture territories for themselves :)
wiltbloococo Says:
May 22, 2012 - There is no campaign in Dust 514 or EVE Online. Everything is multiplayer, player-driven. The multiplayer just seems like a campaign because it's so epic.
Isaiah53v5 Says:
May 23, 2012 - So do we buy vehicles etc using exp points or something? Like where they show the cost of different units?
wiltbloococo Says:
May 23, 2012 - The currency in EVE Online and Dust 514 is called ISK. So, people will be able to manufacture vehicles, and people will be able to buy those vehicles using ISK. But there are "exp" points in EVE and Dust too, which are called Skill Points (SP). You use skill points to improve skills, but to buy stuff you use ISK.
dragonofdojimasan Says:
May 26, 2012 - Dust 514 is free to play on PS3. Please like this so everybody can see.
zklumph Says:
May 26, 2012 - All is DUST (514) !
usws Says:
May 26, 2012 - Playstation 3 exclusive?? WTF
97Darkus Says:
May 26, 2012 - This makes COD look like a kids game
Isaiah53v5 Says:
May 26, 2012 - So how do you manufacture vehicles and how do you get ISK?
wiltbloococo Says:
May 26, 2012 - I'm not sure about Dust 514, but the EVE Online game is massive - there are various ways to make money. And I believe that most/all of Dust 514 equipment will be manufactured by EVE Online players, using resources from mining/harvesting. EVE Online players can then sell equipment to Dust 514, as well as hire mercenaries. But I also think that CCP has mentioned Dust 514 soldiers being able to control their own planets and manufacture stuff...
09erre Says:
May 27, 2012 - I might just buy a PS3 only for this.

Synthmilk Says:
May 14, 2012 - Well to be fair the offerings in the Nobel Exchange are horrible, and it's all for avatars, not ships, so I don't think it's a good example. If the customization options are good, I think cosmetic sales will pay off in the long run. As for NEXON, they are ONLY partnered to handle payments and marketing in Japan, they're not a development or publishing partner. They also came in late in development, and DUST has stated since Day 1: no Pay to Win. I think DUST is safe there.
