Aug 26, 2011 - The funniest part is that the idea is Joaquin to be the main attraction of the movie(Of course, he did a great job, he deserved the Oscar), but as soon as Reese is visible in the picture, she outshines everyone! I have almost never seen such a good role interpretation as she does in this movie. Actually, she does nothing special, but there's something about her in this movie that makes her character so interesting and phenomenal. She shines through the whole movie and really deserved the Oscar!

Nobody remembers that she won, everybody remembers that Joaquin lost (just watch the highest rated comment).I'm not even saying that he deserved to win over Hoffman but this is definetly Phoenix's movie and Phoenix's performance.
