Feb 4, 2012 - You are a fucking retard. Stop taking life for granted, you are lucky to live in a free country where you don't have to worry about war or poverty.

Feb 4, 2012 - MrApplelovin- well done and good luck! robert5p3- its comments like yours which include the word 'retard' and the like which make people fearful of being honest about how they feel inside! A shameful response to a vulnerable post- it may not be what you agree with, but to have a faith and feel called into the priesthood of that faith is as strong a pull as sexuality, and juggling the two ( even in this day and age) is hugely difficult!

Feb 5, 2012 - Well I was looking for the more famous Ben Cohen but was very happy to find your video as well.... something about being Benjamin Cohen and being from the UK and being incredibly articulate, attractive and supportive of the LGBT community :)

Feb 6, 2012 - It's a shame that only a few weeks ago that the JC published a story that JFS students had been taught about JONAH and their gay-'cures'.
ELIEISMYHERO Says:
Feb 6, 2012 - Yeah, it wasn't true

Feb 6, 2012 - @MrApplelovin Stay strong and no matter how many people tell you it's wrong or it's a choice remember you are gay so only ou and the rest of the gay community such as myself can know these things. Peace.

Feb 7, 2012 - Its not a disease to be cured. However it is a birth defect caused by an imbalance of hormones in the mothers body. So many pollutants, medications, hormones and preservatives in our food that it often causes a chemical imbalance in the body. If you discriminate against people with down syndrome or other birth defects its a big deal. It should be the same for LGBT.

MaxG63 Says:
Feb 15, 2012 - @MrLogix42: if your theory is correct, then there shouldn't have been any gay people in the past, when there were no pollutants or preservative in food. The reality is that homosexuality has always existed and we know that (even if fewer gay people were 'out' in the past for fear of persecution or exclusion). Homosexuality is NOT a birth defect, it is just a characteristic that is prevalent in about 10% of the human population. I'm gay, by the way, in case you're wondering.
MrLogix42 Says:
Feb 15, 2012 - Actually, your right, there is definitely a genetic chance that this defect will occur anyways. I'm just saying it happens a lot MORE now. There's scientific findings that in the next several years that there will be an increase in lesbians because of a certain thyroid medication used by women that increases testosterone levels. So TLDR: I didn't explain myself properly first time around.

Apr 30, 2012 - Wonderful video. Had I seen such a video at 16 I would have had a totally different life. A much better, self realised life. I respect those that can reconcile themselves with their religions and homosexuality. After all if it weren't for organised religion there would never have been the discrimination that we fight all over the world.

May 7, 2012 - Great video, thanks for sharing. I recently spent time interviewing young people for a short film about LGBT issues in schools (see my channel for video) and I know it really helps younger people to hear other peoples stories about growing up LGBT. Thanks.
