May 16, 2012 - the slim line is funny. yer u can fit it in smaller spaces but u still need room for the fukin disc flap to pop up , would be nice if it had a disc slot like ps3, but maybe they couldnt do that then

May 20, 2012 - My PS2 will be 11 years old on 27 November 2012. It has been dropped at least twice and I hardly ever clean it but it is still working as both a games console and a DVD player. GTA and Gran Turismo 4 are still great to play in 2012. It is easily the most reliable piece of equipment that I own. I grew it up with it, I love it!

May 25, 2012 - I disagree my ps2 which was the first to be launched outlived a shitload of ps2 slims. It's a beast and works great even today. I had a friend who went through 3 slims before he finally bought the fat one

May 26, 2012 - guys to settle this debate you have to compare the 2 systems,first off the fat ps2 no doubt has hardware faliures such as freezing,disk tray sticks,dust on the lens and the worst problem of them all it wont read new games such as the 2k franchises,the ps2 slim on the other hand doesnt skip as much,doesnt have as many hardware faliures,and loses all of the EXTRA weight you should expect the ps2 slim to win because it is the new and improved ps2 however it does lack reliability unlike the ps2 fat.
