Dec 13, 2011 - Afghans say that they are beggars living on a gold mine. The mineral wealth of Afghanistan has been known for centuries, but the armed gangs and corruption made it impossible to mine those minerals. Afghanistan has no railways, so there is no way to transport the minerals to other countries. If the railways are built, Taliban and Haqqani network will blow them up. Afghanistan is one of the most corrupt countries in the world - only 6 countries are more corrupt than Afghanistan.
